Fun fact! Having a job every day is actually a fairly new thing.
In olden times, people had daily chores and other things to do but their workload/ daily working hours was actually much lower than it is today. Even in farming communities.
The concept of working super hard every day actually comes from capitalism, which in turn comes from Puritanical ideology.
The Puritans believed in salvation through work and in no play.
Early capitalists adopted this ideology because it meant higher productivity and therefore more money if their factories were running near constantly.
The idea of needing to be continuously productive in order to be useful/ allowed things like food and shelter, is actually quite an insidious ideal that is deeply rooted in the American culture.
4 day work weeks have actually proven to be more productive than the 5 day week. But corporations won't adopt it willingly because it means less of a stranglehold on their workers.
@lyrakae some less ambiguous than others. Noel in that post didn't she exchange rings with flare?
Look listen I used to word "ambiguous" for a reason bacause I mean yeah Marine straight up said she was Bi and I'm pretty sure Kanata and Coco got married at some point but here is the thing.
They are playing character, characters that's might not have the same sexuality as they have behind the curtain. I used that's word as a way to distance the character from who they play as.
Tbh I probably could have used a better word for saying all of these, I am sure but yeah that's what I tried to do. I don't want to erase they're sexuality. Just try and keep as sane as ones can get in this fandom.
I think what I'm trying to get at is: "they never called themselves lesbians, so I shall not as well"
Sorry for the long post I'm bad at making these short.
It's fine I hope my response didn't seem mean spirited. Yes there is both the presented character and the actor who may be queer. Though i suppose I'm referring to the characters who are definitely supposed to be presented as queer for sure
Yeah honestly that’s fair I’m actually kinda going back and forth about it as well cause like.. idk my respond felt almost a bit too “virtue signaling”. Guess I should lighten up. Don’t worry about this my friend your all good!

idk what traumatized or mentally ill person needs to hear this but dreams (especially the really disturbing ones you dont want to talk about to anybody) arent some deep peek into your psyche or a sign of your True Desires or whatever theyre quite literally your brain making fruit salad with whatever it can find on the shelf. just putting all that shit in a blender and hitting obliterate. its fine, youre fine, youre not a weirdo for it
perhaps some will disagree, but i think the world got worse when we changed the colour of the night
